ACI Kenya has been in existence since 2000 while ACI FMA was founded in Paris in 1955 as Association Cambiste Internationale, and has a proud and illustrious history of involvement in helping its membership and financial markets, through various phases of market evolution.
Operating on four key pillars, the Association seeks to make its presence known in the wider financial markets, through training and social activities to create the holistic dealer.
Our Goals
The Four Pillars
Upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in all financial market activities.
Continuous training and internationally recognised certification programs for members.
Good will, fellowship, and charitable initiatives across the Kenyan financial sector.
Financial professional growth and opportunities for all members and stakeholders.
Three core areas that define ACI Kenya's impact on Kenyan financial markets.
The Association has grown over the years to become a major influence in the Kenyan Banking sector. Through interactions with major stakeholders, including the Central Bank, the association has played a key role in helping to raise the standards of the Kenyan financial markets.
ACI has always considered ethical conduct to be a key cornerstone of the Financial Markets. ACI Kenya encourages its membership to acknowledge, respect and adhere to principles of ethical behaviour as laid out in the BIS FX Global Code. ACI Kenya is committed to supporting market participants to operate to the highest standards of ethical conduct and best market practice.
Training and development is one of the four pillars of ACI Kenya. The Association offers a variety of courses forming part of the continuous development program of our members. ACI certification is internationally recognized and accredited by many regulators globally. The ACI Dealing Certificate is a mandatory requirement for all authorized bank dealers within a year of joining the dealing room.
The dedicated professionals leading ACI Kenya and shaping the future of financial markets in Kenya.
